Michael Spooner is a Melbourne based designer, writer, curator and teacher within the discipline of architecture. He holds a Bachelor of Architecture (1st hons) and PhD (by project) from RMIT University. He is a lecturer in Architecture & Urban Design at RMIT University where he coordinates the first year architecture foundation semester, supervises Bachelor of Architectural Design and Masters of Architecture design studios, graduate thesis projects, and PhD candidates.
The first publication on his work ‘A Clinic for the Exhausted: In Search of an Antipodean Vitality – Edmond & Corrigan and an Itinerant Architecture’ was published by Spurbuchverlag as part of their Art & Architecture Design Research Series.
